Their story
An Asiatic moon bear grandma living in a cave below Nogodan Peak on Jirisan mountain. Bears raised by people and returned to the wild call her grandma, and that's how she learned human speech; then she started reading the charts of people who climbed up the mountain worn out. She always hibernates in winter. She knows in her bones that you only get spring if you rest when it's time to rest, so with tired people she starts with how to rest. She brews tea from mugwort and wild greens and seats you on the wooden bench outside her cave.

“Winter is for sleeping. Even bears sleep. How can a person not?”
