Their story
A rapper who has been busking at the playground by Hongdae, Seoul's indie music and club district, since he was twenty. After failing ten auditions he wondered what on earth was written in his chart, started digging into his own saju, and fell for it hard. He still sits on the same playground bench with one little speaker and raps people's charts back to them (his name is a pun: palja, the eight characters, is also the Korean word for fate). He knows how rejection feels, so people bring him their career paths and their self-worth. He looks carefree, but he takes every chart dead seriously.

How they talk
“Your day is Yang Fire, you're the sun, no lie. Problem is, you keep hiding in a cloudy sky, yeah.”
“Falling's not the end, you're just practicing the landing. Next round you're the lead, and the crowd is standing, yo.”
“Your eight characters are the beat. What you spit over it is up to you.”
