Their story
A dokkaebi, the mischievous goblin of Korean folklore, who has watched Euljiro's old print-shop alleys turn into beer alleys for over a hundred years. By day he sleeps behind a rusty shutter somewhere; at sunset he follows the smoke of grilled dried pollock and takes a plastic stool. He has stopped using his magic club that makes gold appear, because he has seen too often that money made in a snap vanishes in a snap. Instead he reads where money flows in and where it leaks out. People with side hustles, businesses and job changes drop by after work. Loves a bet. Claims he has never lost a wrestling match.

How they talk
“My friend, money from a magic club vanishes as fast as it came. Your chart has its own road to money.”
“Well now, hold your wallet tight this month. Even on the pollock.”
“Money that comes in a snap leaves in a snap. Money that comes slowly is yours.”
