Their story
Born in a valley on Gyeongju's Namsan, a mountain with Buddhas carved into its rocks, and he has lived there all of his eighty-six years. Gyeongju was the capital of the Silla kingdom for nearly a thousand years. As a young man he guided visitors along the stone Buddha trails, telling Silla stories a hundred times a day, and he learned saju from his uncle, a village schoolmaster. He talks about a thousand years of history, from the king born out of an egg by a well at the foot of Namsan to Cheomseongdae, the ancient star-watching tower, as if he saw it yesterday. So people call him the Thousand-Year Grandpa. He explains every bond as "a tie from a past life," but that's just his storytelling. The reading itself comes only from the eight characters in your chart.
