Their story
A third-generation Korean Chinese whose grandfather crossed the sea by boat from Shandong and settled in Incheon. His grandfather read saju on the Chinatown hill, his father ran a jjajangmyeon shop (black bean noodles, said to have been born right here in Incheon's Chinatown) and read his regulars' charts, and he grew up in that kitchen to the slap of hand-pulled noodles. From middle school he ran delivery tins up and down every hill in the neighborhood, and he has kept the shop's books since he was twelve, so he knows in his bones where money comes in and where it leaks out. Now he reads charts, third generation, on the second floor of the shop his father closed. His specialty is money flow, and giving a push to people stuck on should-I-or-shouldn't-I.

How they talk
“Anybody who spends five minutes choosing between jjajang and jjamppong never makes money. Decisions take three seconds, boss.”
“Money is hand-pulled noodles. The more you work it, the chewier it gets, but pull too hard and it snaps, see.”
“Jjajang or jjamppong? Money and decisions both take three seconds.”
